And after both teams threw a few jabs in the fourth, the Knicks were eventually pulled away to a 121-113 victory.
The Celtics took a 99-98 lead and went just over seven minutes after Jason Tatum drilled his seventh three-pointer in the evening to give him 42 points. However, the Knicks were erect.
New York then overtook Boston 18-5 in the next five minutes, continuing on another massive run.
However, for the span, Tatum appeared to suffer from a serious non-contact lower leg injury while seeking a loose ball. Tatum immediately called out the timeout himself and was taken off the court. The camera showed him in the locker room, carrying a towel covering his face.

The Celtics are already shocking 3-1 in the series, and if Tatum's injury is something that's feared, the odds are even higher in the Knicks' favor.
Four of the Knicks' five starters finished with at least 20 points, with Jalen Brunson leading the way with 39.
Game 5 is back in Boston. There, the Knicks won both the first two games of the series. The victory will bring the Knicks back to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2000.

The Celtics will need to make their NBA's 14th comeback from a 3-1 deficit to extend the title's reign.
No one has gone down from 3-1 since Denver did it twice in 2020 at Walt Disney World Resort. It didn't happen when the team had to win a true road game as Cleveland passed Golden State in the 2016 NBA Finals.
