What's going bad these days?

Are you flying to Newar Liberty Airport? Or find yourself near the main gate of the Newark ice detention center?

In the mind of famous bandleader Raymond Scott – you're taking part in “The bumpy weather over Newark” either way. It is one of Scott's most famous compositions. It is ranked immediately with “Powerhouse” and 120 Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies Cartoons scores.

A trio of House Democrats who brawled with federal law enforcement officials at Delaney Hall in Newark last week. They may face discipline from the house for the Fraca. Or even worse.

Republicans are wrestling with Trump's mixed signal on “big, beautiful bills”

Fox is said to have a potential for arrests to be in the future of the person in charge. DN.J. , Robert Menendez Jr., DN.J., and Bonnie Watson Coleman, DN.J.

“What happened on May 9 was not an oversight. It was a political stunt that put the safety of our law enforcement officers, agents, staff and our detainees at risk,” Homeland Security Secretary Christie Nom told the House on Wednesday. “The action was lawless, and it was beneath this body.”

Noem should know something about it. She worked at home for eight years. On his way to the hearing, Noem said an investigation was underway.

“I think the arrests are still on the table for this,” said the assistant secretary of Fox civil servant Tricia McLaughlin, who is a hometown. “If that is a typical US citizen and they try to rush into a detention facility that houses dangerous criminals and everyone, they will be arrested.

Democrats claim they did nothing wrong. They had the right under the law to request inspections of facilities. It is embodied as their supervisor's responsibility. But r-la. House Speaker Mike Johnson evaluated videotapes of Democrats intertwined with federal agents. He decided it was not a surveillance.

“It looked like a battery to me,” Johnson said.

House minority leader Hakeem Jeffries, Dn.Y. saw it differently.

“We have a zero base to hold members of Congress accountable,” Jeffries said. “No videos have been made to suggest that you are engaged in inappropriate activities, and if they had been there, they would certainly have been in the public domain. These videos have not been released because they do not exist.”

Chatting about the Democrats' arrests and possible sanctions was rattling around Capitol Hill all week. McIver and her aides passed the reporter's wall on their way to the NOEM hearing Wednesday.

“Are you worried about potentially arrested?” I really asked you.

McQuiber's aide pressed his arm to keep the microphone out of the way.

“Sorry! Sorry!” I ordered a McIver and never walked.

“The speaker spoke about the accusation, Mr. Mciver. Do you have any reaction to that?” I asked.

Lawmakers disappeared behind the doorway to the House Homeland Security Committee, but never responded.

His colleague, Dan Scully, bravely attempted to get McQuiver to comment on Thursday. But there are no dices.

“Alina Haba (Interim US Attorney for New Jersey) said she was going to announce the investigation. Did you and what happened there, were there any kind of deals? Would you like to comment on that?” asked Scully.

Silence from McQuiber.

“Has anyone from DOJ reached out to you?” asked another reporter.

cricket.

“American, do you regret pushing the officers in? Did you think you'd run away with that?” asked another scribe.

Nada.

“Do you have any comments?” Scully asked.

It is doubtful that even the wit of MacGyver on TV may have slowed down the response from McIver.

R-Ga. Rep. Buddy Carter introduced a resolution to strip Mciver, Menendez and Watson Coleman from the committee's assignments.

“Take your hands away from members of Congress,” Jeffries warned.

You really followed Jeffries at his press conference on Tuesday.

“What if they arrest and arrest these members, or if they first try to sanction them at home?” I asked.

“They'll know,” replied Jeffries.

“What would you do?” I followed up.

“They'll discover,” Jeffries repeated.

“What kind of resource?” I retorted.

“They'll discover,” he said again.

“That's not a brooch…?”

“They will find it.”

“Is that the opposite…?”

“That's a red line,” Jeffries said.

“What is the red line?” I asked.

“It's a red line. It's very clear. First of all, I think the so-called Homeland Security spokesman is a joke. It's a joke. They know better than going that path. And it's been made loud and plentiful to the Trump administration. “There's a clear line that they don't dare cross.”

The arrest of these lawmakers would cause a fire on Capitol Hill. Article 6, Article 6 of the Constitution generally protects lawmakers from charges. If they shoot someone, the lawmakers are not off the hook. But the founders had in mind how politically motivated arrests debilitate Congress' work. So they created what is known as a “speech or debate” clause to inoculate lawmakers when doing business.

“In all cases, they are privileged from arrest during their attendance at the sessions of their respective homes, except for treason, felony and peace violations.

“I don't think that's a clause in speech and discussion,” Johnson said of Newark rhubarb. “We need to set standards here. We can't push law enforcement officials to members of Congress. That's exactly what everyone saw on videotape.”

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif, wondered how the prosecutors short-circuited the privileges and privileges of Congress.

“I think instilling fear is a sign of weakness,” Pelosi said. “It definitely goes through a speech or discussion clause.”

A Democrat involved in the Newark skirmish said the prosecution would not surprise her.

“The rule of law means nothing to them,” Watson Coleman said. “I think most of this country will see this isn't American. This doesn't support the constitution.”

House Republicans want to condemn the New Jersey Democrats' victory in Delaney Hall. Criticism is one of the official discipline modes within the house, and is beyond exile. This requires voting on the floor of the house. The House of Representatives praised President Trump during a speech during a joint session in Congress in March, followed by D-Tex. He voted to condemn Rep. Al Green.

Like everything, it's about mathematics. And it is said that Fox is likely to lack the vote that the House will discipline members or kick them out of committee.

Regarding criminal charges? They remain unseen yet. But actually arresting members of Congress would undoubtedly cause “lumpy weather over Newark.”
