The San Francisco 49ers showed why they remain the kings of the NFC West on Thursday, playing their last four Division III games.
The Niners went to Seattle and beat the Seahawks 36-24 in a must-win game.
The Niners scored on three field goals and a 76-yard touchdown from Brock Purdy to Deebo Samuel to take a 16-0 lead. Seattle ended the first half with a field goal, but George Kittle hit the end zone to start the second half, giving San Francisco a 23-3 lead.

But the Seahawks weren't dead yet, as Laviska Shenault took the kickoff 97 yards to the house, cutting the deficit to 10 points. Seattle then forced a punt, and a 13-play drive ended with a score by Kenneth Walker, making the game 23-20 at the end of the third quarter.
Midway through the fourth quarter, Geno Smith made a costly interception on his own field, and three plays later Kittle scored his second touchdown of the night.

Seattle's fourth goal kept Seattle's hopes alive, but Isaac Guerend, who replaced the injured Jordan Mason, ran for 76 yards and Kyle Juszczyk scored, all but ending the game.
Things seemed to be starting to fall apart for Seattle after winning their first three games of the season, but this is their third straight loss. As for San Fran, they bounced back in a big way after losing to the Arizona Cardinals last week, with both teams now 3-3.
Purdy threw for 255 yards and three touchdowns, completing 18 of 28 passes. Geno Smith gained 312 yards but was picked off twice.
