The California Highway Patrol released video of the incident in which former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Julio Urias was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence outside the city's BMO Stadium following a Los Angeles Football Club soccer game.
The footage, obtained by the Los Angeles Times and released months after Urías pleaded not guilty to domestic violence charges, shows the left-hander chasing his wife and pinning her against the fence, providing further evidence for the allegations against Urías.
Urias can also be seen grabbing his wife's hair and shoulders as bystanders try to intervene.

The district attorney's office decided to charge Urias with misdemeanor domestic violence, even though he was arrested on a felony domestic violence charge.
“Neither the victim's injuries nor the defendant's criminal history justify a felony charge,” the indictment stated at the time.
Julio Urias pleads not guilty in domestic violence case, avoids prison time
After pleading not guilty in May, Urias was sentenced to 36 months probation and ordered to perform 30 days of community service. The arrest was made in September 2023.
Urias was also required to complete a 52-week domestic violence counselling course, pay into a domestic violence fund, not possess weapons, not use force or violence of any kind, pay restitution to victims and comply with protection orders.

MLB placed Urias on indefinite suspension following his arrest outside of an MLS game.
Urias also has a criminal record as a pitcher; he was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in 2019 and served a 20-game suspension, but was not charged in that case.
Urias spent his first eight major league seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 2022, he finished third in Cy Young Award voting with a National League-best 2.16 ERA after leading the major league with 20 wins the previous year but finishing seventh.
