White House press chief Caroline Leavitt declared Thursday that Democrats are “more radical than ever and have not touched the needs of the American people.”
Trump's sweeping tax and spending reduction package was handed over by the House of Representatives early this morning by a thin 215-214 vote on razors.
“Every Democrat in the House of Representatives voted against all of these common sense and very popular policies. Democrats were more radical than ever and were not touching on the needs of the American people,” she said. “One big and beautiful bill is the last missing piece to enter America's golden age. The Senate should hand it over as soon as possible and send it to President Trump's desk for a final signature.”
Leavitt welcomed the legislation, saying it would “provide the largest tax cut in American history for middle-class families, working class and small businesses.” She also said, “by providing the biggest border security investment in history, it will permanently secure borders, fund the annual removal of at least one million illegal foreigners, run the largest border deportation campaign to date, close the Trump border wall, and give incredible ice and border patrol agents raises and bonuses.”

Two House Republicans joined the Democrats and voted against the bill. Rep. Thomas Massey of Kentucky and Warren Davidson of Ohio.
When asked by a reporter on Thursday if Trump thought both lawmakers should become primers, Leavitt said, “I think he is.”

“And I don't think he likes seeing his grandfather in Congress. 'What's the alternative?' I'll ask members of Congress. Leavitt continued.
“It's an alternative for them to try to vote no and the president believes they need to unite the Republican Party. And the majority of Republicans are clearly listening to the president. They trust President Trump.

“The president's approval rating is now the highest ever, because he knows how to deliver. Republicans like Thomas Massey should be careful,” Leavitt said.
