Between streaming and cables there is a seemingly endless variety to look at. Here is a selection of television shows and specials that will air or stream this week from February 10th to 16th. Details and times are subject to change.
Anxious vacation.
HBO's “White Lotus” and “Inheritance” were on air, so what was it to discuss with a friend or post on X on Sunday night? Luckily, the White Lotus is back. In the first two seasons, viewers set out on a transcontinental journey, including Hawaii's Index Hotel Manager and Italy's strange Love Square. And now the third season is set to Thailand. There, we promise there is a lot of suspense and threats of stressful family dynamics, uncomfortable couples, and of course, violence and crime. Sadly, is Jennifer Coolidge not here this season after she met her early ending mise? Director and writer Mike White is at the helm. Who really knows what happens? Stream on HBO at 9pm on Sundays and on Max.
Saturday Night Live from 1950.
In many ways, the entire season has been celebrating the 50th anniversary of Saturday Night Live, but this week it's “SNL50: The Home Coming Concert” and “SNL50: The Home Coming Concert” on Radio City Music's live show “SNL50: The Home Coming Concert” It's being held. New York Hall. “Sn.L.” hosts alum Jimmy Fallon, and the show will include performances from over 20 artists, including Arcade Fire, Eddie Vedder and Miley Cyrus. And the best part? You can watch live from the comfort of your home. At Peacock on Friday at 8pm.
A live show from New York, is that… a Sunday night? Though the title doesn't match the timing, “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” is a big three-hour event that closes out a season full of Trips Down Memory Lane, showing off the history of the famous alumni and the show. If you want to prepare differently, the fictional narrative from the first night of the show is streamed on Netflix with “Saturday Night” directed by Jason Lateman. Sunday at 8pm on NBC.
A romantic comedy revival.
Sometimes, travel to Italy for very practical and very grown reasons, and suddenly you are swept away by a romance that will change the course of your life. So that's what I saw in the film. It never happened to me. At “Dolce Villa”, things are no exception. Eric (Scott Foley) travels to Tuscany, where his daughter, Olivia (Maia Lebicco), tries to stop buying and restoring the old villa. The moment he arrives in town, he meets mayor Francesca (Violante Placido) and you know what they are saying: Colpo di Fulmine. Streaming on Netflix on Thursday.
In the last three Bridget Jones films, the heroine (Runetzelweger) enjoys the charming life of gorgeous men flocking to her despite her awkwardness and general ability to induce scenes. And the new article continues with the pattern “Bridget Jones: A Mad About a Boy.” The story is picked up after the death of Bridget's husband, Mark (Colin Firth), – many fans, including myself, may not be able to forgive – and she is pursued by Mr. Walker (Chutel Egiofor). embark on a new stage in life and Roxster (Leo Woodall). Oh, and even though Bridget attended the funeral, Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) has been around forever. A lot is happening. Streaming on Peacock on Thursday.
At Hampton and Pods, Ohio.
It may still be frozen in New York, but we can live on our behalf through this group of friends who stroll around the Hamptons over the summer. “Summer House” left last season after a breakup between Karl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard and the situation between West Wilson and Ciara Miller was wrong. Now they're back in the same summer share house, with Page DeSorvo and Amanda Batura, but this time Hubbard is pregnant and is shifting the overall dynamics. As always, there are plenty of house parties of female friendship, shenanigans and heartwarming exhibits. Bravo on Wednesday at 9pm.
If it appears that there has been a constant season of “love blind” over the past few years, then you are not wrong. There were two seasons in 2024, and last season was just wrapped up at the end of October. But anyway, this time I'm filming in Ohio. The premise is the same. People get to know one person from the comfort of a private pod without meeting anyone. After that, as they form a connection, they meet face to face and see if they are actually compatible. Netflix Friday.
