Tiger Woods made a cruel joke to those disappointed that he was away from Masters on Tuesday.
Earlier this month, Woods announced that he had undergone “minimal invasive” surgery to repair his ruptured Achilles tendon.

Wood, 49, did not specify when he would return this year, and given his long list of injuries, fans thought it would take a while.
However, on Tuesday, Woods announced they would compete at Augusta National.
“I can't believe I'm saying this, but a few weeks after bursting Achilles on the left, I'm sleeping in a high-pressure chamber and an explosive lift ready for my doctor and trainer to play Master next week! Watch Y'all on the course!”

Trump says he gave Tiger Woods blessings to date Vanessa Trump: “Let them make both happy.”
But before fans were too excited, the 15-time major winner revealed his prank.
“PS April Fools' Day My Achilles is still confused 🙂
Despite the broken heart, social media fans responded well to the joke.
“I'm glad that despite crushing many dreams this morning, you still have a sense of humor,” one user wrote.
“I walked straight to this. Nice shot tiger,” another added.

Woods rebounded from the laundry list for injuries, but he hasn't been the same since winning his final major in 2019 with the Masters. He had his sixth back surgery last September and had previously had an Achilles tendon problem. He also cited the left Achilles heel, who retreated from the 2011 athletes' championship after two months out in 2011.
It is unclear how long his latest injury will put him aside this year.
