To the mother who holds the country together,
Every Mother's Day, we celebrate you with flowers, cards and brunch. But today I would like to offer something more meaningful than gifts and meals. I want to remind you that America needs you more than ever.
At the moment when our culture feels broken, our families are under pressure, our future is uncertain, and it is our mothers who hold the line. It is the mother who holds the house and keeps her heart connected. And she is a mother who quietly and faithfully leads to strength that would not survive without this country.

Headlines celebrate celebrity CEOs and political powers, but they believe America's deepest leadership is quietly located next to kitchen tables, carpool lines and hospital beds. It's happening through you.
Motherhood is less suitable for a culture that values self-care over service. And that's the problem
Think about it: Every day, you make a thousand small but powerful decisions for your family. All lunches were packed, all schedules were coordinated, and all the difficult conversations were navigated. Manage conflicts, negotiate compromises, anticipate needs, and hold the weight of other people's futures in your hand. And you do it not for applause, not for title, but for love.
That's not weakness. That's the strength under control. That is the leadership of the servants in action.
I've seen it in person at my house. My wife isn't leading in the spotlight. She is in a steady lead. She doesn't follow recognition. She is responsible. And through her daily sacrifice, both seen and invisible, our family thrives.

The toughest, but most rewarding job in the world: Mom is a hero
Her leadership has shaped the characters, cultivated faith, and built children resilience far more effectively than any platform or podium.
You don't always feel that, but the impact you convey is immeasurable. In a world obsessed with platforms and fame, your leadership reminds us that things are better. Real leadership is not measured by followers or influence, but by the prosperity of those left to your care.
Jesus made this clear: “Whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant” (Matthew 20:26).

Imagine that more leaders in politics, business, education and church have been led like you. Rather than chasing the spotlight, you take responsibility. He doesn't ask for applause, but he sows the heritage.
Today I simply want to say: Thank you. Thank you Grit, Grace, for guiding selfless love. Thank you for being patient in the invisible moments. Thank you for reminding us that leadership that is bent low to lift others is the deepest mark in the world.
