Martina Navratilova has long been openly speaking about transgender athletes in women's sports, attacking a Democrat senator who voted against the bill earlier this week.
Nevada Sen. Katherine Cortez Mastro was one of 45 Democrats who voted against the bill despite President Donald Trump's executive order.
In a statement, Cortez Mastro explained why she voted against the bill despite “support (ing) fair play and…support (ing) trans athletes compete in sports between girls and women.”

“I think local schools, student-athletes, coaches and parents are far better at implementing fair and powerful politics on this issue than politicians in Congress,” she said. “This comprehensive law allows anyone to have an invasive physical examination for girls because of their appearance. It's an incredible government overreach, increasing the risk of abuse and harassment for young women – I was fighting my career.”
However, Navratilova called for such a checkered senator concept for athletes.
“An existing blood job. A simple cheek swab as they do on TV is a surefire way to find sex, and it only needs to be once (sic),” she wrote. “There's never been a genital check!!! Stop spreading propaganda, Democrats!!!”

Navratilova's X Bio begs his followers to vote for blue, but she reveals in this issue that she is on the other side of the spectrum.
Her pinned post says she “will not vote for 'Trump' now or ever,” comparing his leadership to the “totalitarian authoritarian country” she grew up in. But one thing they agree to is the “male body” of the “space” of the female.
“I lived in a totalitarian, authoritarian country I grew up in, so I won't vote now or ever,” reads the post. “Trump isn't a professional woman, not a rapist, he's against everything. It's a big difference. I support trans people, but in a female sex-based space it's not a male body. It's simple.”
