Are the Bills the Chiefs' biggest threat? | The Herd
The Buffalo Bills were led by a dominant performance from Josh Allen to a 47-10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday night. Colin Cowherd is ready to fall in love with the Bills again and said they're the biggest threat to Kansas.
It's no secret that Travis Kelce got off to a slow start in his 12th season with the Kansas City Chiefs, but the team started the season undefeated.
Kelce has received criticism from nearly every NFL commentator and sports pundit — he has eight catches for 69 yards but has yet to reach the end zone — over his off-field performance, his relationship with Taylor Swift and simply his age.

But Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes said their defenses are playing Kelce tighter because they know how much he impacts the game. There's a reason he's a nine-time Pro Bowl selection and four-time All-Pro.
On Wednesday's episode of “New Heights,” Kelce spoke about concerns about his play in the first three games of the season.
“Pat and Coach Reid both said we're finding ways to win games, but we haven't played our best,” he said. “I think everybody can improve on that. I think everybody saw my mistakes in the fourth quarter, on that big third down, just trying to hang on before I even kept the ball. That's probably the biggest thing for me is making plays in those big situations.”
“The way we're playing defense right now, I don't think I'll get many opportunities to play on the field, but I'm not going to use that as an excuse. I'm going to continue to try to help the team in that regard. I'm going to move forward knowing that I've been a weapon for the team in the past. Everybody's just fine-tuning their game in the right direction, and we go out west this week to play the Chargers and I know what we have to do to get there. I'm looking forward to the challenge. We're 3-0. There's nothing better than a 3-0 start.”

Kelce said he isn't worried about how many targets he's getting – his 12 through three games are second-most on the team behind Ruchy Rice's 29.
“Whatever it is, it's football,” Kelsey said. “I'm not going to obsess about getting targets. I just want to have a successful offense. I think Pat's doing a great job right now of finding open guys and making the right decisions. We've just got to continue to do that. It's a new offense, new players, new pieces, and we're just figuring out how to be successful throughout the season.”
“On offense, you're going to go through those ups and downs throughout the season. You want to make sure you eliminate all of the mistakes and communicate so that everybody knows exactly where we're going to go. Nobody can do that better than Coach Reid and Pat Mahomes.”
