Travis Kelce appears to be one of the many Cleveland Guardians fans elated by the team's victory over the New York Yankees in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series.
Guardians utility man David Frye has returned to action in the postseason. He hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 10th inning, giving Cleveland the victory.

Kelce, a Kansas City Chiefs tight end from suburban Cleveland, was shocked by the outcome. And he declared himself a lifelong Cleveland fan.
“I am a lifelong Cleveland sports fan…I have returned to countless Guards and Cavs games over the years to enjoy the memories with friends and family. Win or lose!!…and I am not You just wear Cleveland gear once and suddenly you're not a real fan?!'' He told X, “I asked everyone who was in and around that suite during Game 1 who I was rooting for.'' If you look, you'll know I was there for (the Guardians).”

Kelsey appeared to be reacting to a jab from a fan who saw Kelsey at Yankee Stadium with girlfriend Taylor Swift. Both teams attended Game 1 of the ALCS in the Bronx, watching New York win and take an early lead in the series.
Neither Kelce nor Swift were wearing team gear of any kind.
Baseball fans also brought their receipts. Kelce appears to have posted about the Yankees losing in the playoffs on October 23, 2010.
At the time, the Yankees lost to the Texas Rangers in Game 6 of the 2010 ALCS. The Rangers lost to the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series. New York's hopes of winning the World Series were dashed.

Kelsey previously admitted on an episode of New Heights that she wore her uncle's Yankees Starter jacket when she was younger.

“I wasn't a huge Yankees fan growing up. I think I loved Derek Jeter. I was dating Derek Jeter,” Kelce said at the time, adding that he was also a Paul O'Neal fan. . He was from Ohio.
