Exclusive: The FBI rated that some officials of the Venezuelan government are “potentially promoting” the migration of violent gang Tren de Lagua members from Venezuela to the United States to advance the Maduro administration's purpose of undermining US public safety, Fox News Digital learned.
Senior management officials only shared with the uncategorized portion of the FBI's Classified Intelligence Evaluation on Wednesday's uncategorized portion of the FBI government's Classified Intelligence Evaluation on the relationship between the FBI government and Tren de Aragua.
Trump warns Maduro when Venezuelan leaders enter the third term, and the US expands sanctions
Upon his appointment, President Donald Trump designated Tren de Aragua and several other immigrant gangs across the United States as foreign terrorist organizations.
Fox News Digital has learned that the FBI is evaluating the likelihood that Venezuelan government officials are using Trende Ragua members as proxy for the Maduro administration to destabilize Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia and the United States. Officials said the FBI is appreciating Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro's demonstrated that Venezuelan neighbors will advance the administration's policies in violation of the territorial sovereignty.
The FBI rated that in the next six to 18 months, Venezuelan government officials are likely to try and leverage US Tren de Aragua members as proxy actors to blackmail, acquit and kill Maduro and his regime vocal critics.
The FBI is looking forward to expanding similar activities across South America.

“These findings should shock Americans, but they're not the law enforcement community,” a senior administrator told Fox News Digital. “They reflect the sentiment of many other information assessments across multiple institutions.”
All details or specific examples remain categorized.
“Nicolas Maduro is a Marxist dictator who once hijacked the rich Venezuela, bringing everything else than a complete economic collapse and gang acquisition,” the official said. “He wants to do the same across the US by shattering Caracas, taking away drugs and violence now, and sending his most violent and dangerous criminals to our community.”
Venezuelan leaders, considered “dictators” by American lawmakers, are expected to take office until 2031.
“The Trump administration will continue to use all the authority of our power to ensure that these worst TDA terrorists in the world are protected from our country,” a US official said. “The American people voted overwhelmingly to make America safe again, and that's exactly what we do.”
Fox News Digital also spoke to an officer of the National Intelligence Director on Wednesday, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
An ODNI official told FOX News Digital that the FBI's ratings are based on domestic law enforcement practices against the US Tren de Aragua.
“This information and intelligence is the most robust and accurate given the law focusing solely on foreign intelligence report retrieval and limited information assessments from other intelligence report elements, where TDA-focused resources were very limited until President Trump took office,” the official said.
Meanwhile, an ODNI official explained to Fox News Digital about uncategorized information from an assessment of Tren de Aragua's relationship with the Venezuelan government.
Officials said Odni rated the Tren de Aragua leader historically as “a widespread benefiting from the Venezuela situation created by the Venezuelan government.”
“The Venezuelan government has supported and supported the terrorist activities against the United States by giving TDA sanctuary and encouraging them to flourish,” ODNI told Fox News Digital.
Officials said unlike most countries, the Maduro regime is eager to return violent TDA criminals to Venezuela and to provide further evidence they consider to be ally. Again, this reflects the actions of other failed Middle Eastern states like Afghanistan and Syria and welcomed open arm terrorists.
The Associated Press recently reported on classified assessments from the National Intelligence Council, citing anonymous sources, and found that the assessments had no coordination between Tren de Aragua and the Venezuelan government.
However, National Intelligence Director Tarshi Gabbard denounced the report, saying officials who illegally shared the classified information had weaponized the Intelligence Reports Agency to undermine Trump.
“Weaponization of intelligence to undermine the president's agenda is an attack on democracy,” Gabbard said. “The people behind this illegal leak, twisted and manipulated to convey the exact opposite discoveries, are accountable under the full power of the law.”
An ODNI official said the uncategorized assessment information shared with Fox News Digital Wednesday was “a fact based on intelligence that illegal leakers and propaganda media are conveniently not included in illegal leakers and propaganda media in order to get in the way of biased stories and try to deceive the American people.”

The charges filed against 27 suspected people, both current and former Tren de Aragua, include human smuggling, sex trafficking and murder.

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York said 21 of the 27 gang members and peers are currently in federal custody. The statement said 16 people were already federal detectives, immigrants or state custody, and five people had been arrested in the past few days.

Commenting on the RICO charges, Attorney General Pam Bondi said, “Today's indictments and arrests span three states and destroys the TDA's infrastructure as they work to completely dismantle and cleanse this organization from our country.”
“Tren de Aragua is not just a street gang,” Bondy said. “It's a highly structured terrorist organization that has destroyed American families with brutal violence, engaged in human trafficking, and spread deadly drugs through our communities.”
