Trevor Lawrence's season appears to be over after suffering a nasty blow to the head on Sunday.
The Jacksonville Jaguars placed their quarterback on injured reserve three days after the blow he took.
Lawrence scrambled for a first down with just over four minutes left in the first half. He attempted to slide to avoid the hit, but as soon as he went down, Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al Shaair fired into Lawrence's head and neck area. While the quarterback was resting a bit, Jaguars players came in to do their version of justice to Al Sha'ir.

Al Shail was sent off from the match and given a further three-game suspension.
“I'm feeling better now that I'm home,” Lawrence posted on the X on Sunday night, but he will miss the next four games on IR duty.
That would make Lawrence eligible to return for the final game of the season, but it's hard to imagine the Jaguars risking anything in a game that doesn't mean anything — in fact, it does mean something to the Jaguars. may only be the first pick in the draft.
NFL vice president of football operations John Runyan announced Al Sha'air's suspension without pay in a lengthy letter, calling the hit “unacceptable and a serious violation of the rules of play.” .

“Dear Trevor, I sincerely apologize for what happened as a result,” Al Shair wrote. “We talked before the game and I said how great it was to have you back on the field and I wished you well. The last thing I want to see is a player get hurt because of a hit I took. No, especially on hits that are judged as “slow'' or “unnecessary.''
