Sen. Adam Schiff was fired late Tuesday after President Donald Trump chuckled a California Democrat at a black-thai Republican dinner in Washington, D.C.
“The US president seems to be oddly focusing on me,” Schiff posted after a round of footage of Trump's jokes.
“Shouldn't he focus on the economy he's crashing?” he wrote.
During an event hosted by the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), the House Republican campaign division, Trump stopped some insults of Boston-born Angeleno's appearance over the oral charges of his role in the 2016 Russian conspiracy investigation.

“It's the weirdest thing. It's a mystery. No one can understand it.”
Trump called Schiff “one of the most dishonest people I've ever seen,” and questioned loudly how people like Schiff could take office.

In October, Trump compared Schiff to an “enemy from within” and lamented that Democrats would likely defeat former MLB star Steve Garvey in California's Open U.S. Senate seat.
Schiff also applauded for criticism from Republicans. In July, Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz responded to reports that current President JD Vance lamented the campaign name after calling the GOP tickets “strange.”
“I want a pencil neck, a watermelon head, Shifty Schiff and a JD,” Schiff replied on Facebook.
Fox News Digital reached out to Schiff for additional comment but did not immediately respond.
