A Trump transition official acknowledged to Fox News that the president-elect is “confident that Senate Republicans will stay the course.”
“President Trump is confident that Senate Republicans will stick to their course and respect the will of the American people by approving Cabinet nominees,” the official said.
The official said President Trump is “very happy” with the vice president-elect and that Vance is “hard at work getting the ball rolling with already excellent candidates.”
