Jackson sparked controversy in 2023 over his comments that NBA players were protesting in the bubble as the league resumed during the coronavirus pandemic.
He said the NBA is “catering” certain viewers.
When asked about his comments on Stacey King's latest episode of “Gimme the Hot Sauce,” Jackson said that critics couldn't understand the humor behind them.
“I don't think people got humor… The name is behind the players who were in the bubble because if you protect them and go to the challenge and hoops, and then you use those monikers in the name, so that's an interesting aspect to it.” “That's what I was bringing to the kids. Visually, this is something humorous.”

“I had nothing to do with BLM or the causes behind it. The humorous nature that was completely awakened by the NBA really seemed pretty difficult to see.”
