Maine continues to oppose President Donald Trump's executive order to protect biological men from girls and women's sports.
The exchange is highly publicized, even including a war of words between Trump and Maine Gov. Janet Mills.
The Department of Education also began an investigation into the state's Title IX, but the Department of Agriculture has filled federal funds, a decision that was reversed by a federal judge.

Maine has dropped its lawsuit against Trump after funds have not been frozen, but it appears there is no clear solution yet. And Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R. Ala, tore the factory over her actions against Trump.
Tuberville appeared on Outkick's “Don't @Me With Dan Dakich” and was asked if there was an impact on states that violate the order.
“Well, if it's a federally funded entity, that's true. And of course, this governor of Maine, who is a complete idiot, is fighting the president of the United States,” Tuberville said. “He told her, you can't spend federal funds, 'Oh, we're going to do it anyway, we don't care what you say, you're not the boss.” Yeah, he's the president of the United States.
“We hate it for the athletes out there, for kids who actually want to get an education but get hurt. And, like I said before, there are trans boys, women's teams all over the country, made up of an entire track team.

Tuberville added that there's not much to do for Trump to fund the state, but tore the “awakening” governor.
“These governors need to get up and grow up and stand up for the women of this country, but they're not going to do that. They're awake. You can't define a woman, but what about being kind to a woman once?”
The U.S. Department of Justice issued a lawsuit against Maine on April 16th over the ongoing rebellion of Trump's executive order to block biological men out of girls and women's sports and suspect Title IX violations.

The Justice Department has accused them of “openly and rebelliously strengthening the federal disparity prevention law” by enforcing policies requiring girls to compete with boys in athletics designated exclusively for girls, according to a complaint obtained by Fox News.
