The Arkansas native began his professional wrestling career as Lord Humongous in Continental Championship Wrestling in 1987. The 6-foot-9-inch hulk won the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) Southeastern Heavyweight Championship later that year, and then teamed with Shane Douglas to win the NWA Southeastern Tag Team Championships as well.
After a stint with the NWA and an initial stint with World Championship Wrestling (WCW), he made his debut for WWE (then called the World Wrestling Federation) in 1991. There, he began as Sid Justice and quickly became a powerhouse, challenging Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VIII and feuding with The Ultimate Warrior.

Eudy worked in the National Wrestling Association from 1994 to 1996, before returning to the WWF and winning the WWF Championship against Shawn Michaels, then defeating Bret Hart for a second time, before losing to The Undertaker at WrestleMania 13.
He was released in 1997 to recover from neck surgery, and made brief appearances on the indies, in Mexico, and in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW).
Eudy returned to WCW in 1999, eventually defeating Kevin Nash to win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, but his run with WCW ended before the WWF acquired the company.

Eudy suffered a potentially career-ending injury after attempting to land a boot on Scott Steiner from the second turnbuckle. He was close to retiring from wrestling for good, but doctors told him he would never be able to wrestle again.
He made sporadic appearances for several promotions until 2017.
