WWE stars Gunter Rhodes and Cody Rhodes walked into the bash in Berlin on Saturday as champions, and left just as they did the same as the company held its first-ever premium live event in Germany.
Gunter, a native of Vienna, appeared in the main event that night against Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship, where the 37-year-old giant and “The Legend Killer” put on an entertaining bout in front of a passionate crowd that couldn't decide which side to root for.
Orton used his strategy of wearing down Gunter's arm all night long, with the WWE star trying to avoid chops to the chest as much as possible, but the Austrian still found a way to take down “The Viper.” Orton rammed Gunter through the announcer's table, but it wasn't enough.

Gunther applied a sleeper hold to Orton, and Orton lost the match after losing consciousness. At the end of the match, Orton and Gunther shook hands, with Orton paying tribute to Gunther.
Rhodes began the match by defending his title against Kevin Owens.
Throughout the match, Owens seemed hesitant to attack Rhodes' knee, which he said was injured on the last SmackDown before the Berlin Bash, and when he had the chance to remove the knee, Owens hesitated.
Rhodes and Owens fought for several minutes, trading multiple finishers with each other, Owens attempting a senton off the top rope, which Rhodes deflected with a knee, and then “The American Nightmare” landed three Cross Rhodes moves, finally defeating Owens and winning the match.
Rose and Owens embraced in the ring, with Owens not happy about losing the match.

WWE Legend “Stone Cold” Steve Austin Expresses Interest in Competing at WrestleMania 41: “I'd be happy to compete”
CM Punk and Drew McIntyre had a match tonight.
The two battled it out in a strap match, adding another chapter to their impressive eight-month rivalry. They gave each other their all, with McIntyre leaving Punk bloody.
But there was no pinfall, no countout, no submission in this match: the winner had to touch all three corner turnbuckles in succession. It took a while, but Punk eventually got the upper hand.
Punk hit his “Go to Sleep” finisher three times, retrieved the bracelet that McIntyre had stolen, which bore the names of his wife and dog, and finished by walking around the squared circle.
Punk told Cathy Kelly that he was aiming for Gunter's title shot.
“I want my money, I'm coming to get you,” he said.
Two tag team matches were also scheduled.
In the first tag team match, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defeated Isla Dawn and Alba Fire to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.
Cargill and Belair showed off their athleticism by somehow breaking through the impressive teamwork of Dawn and Fire throughout the match, with Cargill pinning Dawn with a German Suplex after a DDT by Belair.

Cargill and Belair can claim the tag team championships for a second time.
Finally, the next chapter of Judgement Day Crack has been written.
Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley defeated Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan in a mixed tag team match, with Ripley sending WWE fans into a frenzy when she hit Mysterio with a headscissors hold in the corner, recreating the move when she first performed it years ago.
Ripley hits Morgan with a Riptide, rolling her over with a pretzel pin, and her team is declared the winners.
The feud between newcomers Judgment Day and Priest, as well as Ripley and Morgan, looks far from over, with Finn Balor, JD McDonagh and Carlito all intervening during matches, and Ripley will surely have a shot at the Women's World Championship after losing it at SummerSlam.
