Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy was arrested in Texas on suspicion of attack on Friday, online prison records show.
Worthy was the first round pick of last year's NFL Draft, booked for assault charges by the Williamson County Sheriff's Office. Williamson County includes parts of Austin. In Austin, what deserves to be stardom with the Texas Longhorns.
The charges claim that they are valuable, assaulting family members and household members, limiting the victim's breathing. Under Texas law, limiting someone's breathing means “intentionally, intentionally or recklessly interfering with a person's normal breathing or circulation by applying pressure to a person's throat or neck or blocking that person's nose or mouth.”

The charge is a three-time felony punishable in prison for up to 10 years. Jail records showed that bonds had not yet been posted by Saturday morning. There were no details on the arrests on the record.
Shortly after news of the arrest surfaced, lawyers Chip Lewis and Sam Bassett issued a statement on behalf of Worthy's.

“We are aware of allegations that led to Mr. Valuable's arrest,” the statement obtained by the Associated Press said. “We are working with Williamson County law enforcement to ensure the overall benefit of the situation that led to this allegation.”
The lawyer argued that the “applicant” refused to leave the home of a valuable home despite many requests. A representative for Worthy also allegedly said the victim, who allegedly tried to force an NFL star, described the allegations made against the client as “baseless.”

“The petitioner has been asked multiple times over the past two weeks to vacate Mr Worthy's residence upon discovery of an affair in which a private investigator has video evidence. She refused to vacate the residence and made many urgent efforts before resorting to this unfounded allegation.”
Worthy's property was damaged and he suffered physical harm, according to the statement. According to the statement, the Chiefs recipients also notified authorities that they did not support the lawsuit.

“The petitioner also destroyed the room in the residence, scratched Mr Worthy's face and tore a part of his hair, which is photographic evidence.
“We will continue to work with Williamson County authorities. Their in-depth investigation supports their in-depth investigation to support Mr. Worthy's innocence.”
The Chiefs also sent a statement to Fox New Digital saying they “are aware of and collect information.”

The worthy person finished the rookie NFL season with 638 receiving yards and six touchdowns. He also scored three rushing touchdowns. The 21-year-old scored two touchdowns in the Chiefs' 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl last month.
