Jazz Chisholm Jr. became Public Enemy No. 1 in Kansas City on Wednesday.
The New York Yankees' star infielder provided fodder for message boards earlier this week, calling the Royals' Game 2 ALDS win against the Royals “lucky.”
There wasn't enough motivation for the Royals in the end as they lost Game 3 on Wednesday, but before that, fans made their voices heard.

When Chisholm was introduced before the game, the boos were very loud, but Chisholm didn't mind it one bit.
In fact, he said with his mouth, “I love you. I love you so much.”
Chisholm was asked about the boos after the Yanks' 3-2 win, and he was clearly upset.
“I've never seen anybody boo my ass,” the one-time All-Star said.
“It's good to be able to do a little bit of that heading into the playoffs,” coach Aaron Boone added. “I created it to make the environment a little better.”

Even after a Royals player posted to X saying, “Don't celebrate too soon,” Chisholm responded, “I want this thing to exist.”
After some tough misfortunes for the Yankees in Game 2, Chisholm was confident the Royals “were lucky,” but he gave up four at-bats in the Yankees' 3-2 win Wednesday. He had 0 hits.
On Wednesday, Giancarlo Stanton scored two runs for the Yankees, including the game-winning run. The slugger hit a huge solo home run in the eighth inning that gave the Yankees an advantage, and Luke Weaver made a five-out save.
